BLI Student Life
Biblical Life Institute occupies 164 acres of land about eight miles outside of Freeport PA. We are approximately 30 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, Pa where students have access to professional and college sporting events, art museums, parks, musicals and all manner of cultural events.
Resident student rooms house a full size bed, a desk, chair, dresser, a fan, and wardrobe for student use. There are 4 bathrooms in the residence area equipped with toilets and showers and sinks. There are two lounges for resident and commuter student use. The upstairs lounge is equipped with a large table with chairs, two couches, a 42 in TV mounted to the wall, cable, several video game systems, and two chairs for lounging. The downstairs lounge is equipped with a gas fireplace, a 42 in TV mounted to the wall, a ping pong table, a foosball table, and a number of couches and chairs for seating. There is also a small coffee shop area off the downstairs lounge where students may purchase coffee, snacks from a vending machine, and soda.
The dining hall can seat approximately 100 people. The dining hall is equipped with a student refrigerator, a microwave, oven and stove, and toaster available for student use. Students provide for their own meals and are provided with the facilities to use for meal preparation.
There is a small lake on campus that students may fish in or use for a canoe ride. There are hiking trails around the lake for exercise or for a prayer walk.

Students have access to wi-fi while they are campus. The library ha computers and a printer for student use. The library is open from 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday and is staffed by our librarian and student workers. It contains approximately 5000 volumes available for student use and access to a database of academic journals.
