Higher Education Debt

The cost and value of higher education in general has been a topic of great concern over the last several years in America. The concerns are even more poignant for those going into full-time ministry. Most people in ministry (pastors, missionaries, youth workers, para-church workers, etc.) are there because of a call to serve, not for money. As a result, most ministers are underpaid and struggle financially. The ministry and families suffer because of the financial stress. The situation is further complicated by educational debt that is often necessary in order to be properly trained for ministry.

At BLI, we are serious about trying to help students graduate with little or no debt so that they can more freely devote themselves to their calling. At the same time, there are significant and legitimate costs to providing higher education.

What are we doing about this?

First, we keep our tuition rates low while still striving for academic quality. In effect, you will receive an automatic financial benefit thousands of dollars just by choosing Biblical Life Institute.

Second, we offer institutional financial aid, awarded annually, based on financial need, academic achievement and available funds.

Third, we provide information on outside sources that are willing to assist students and parents with regard to financing their education.
