ANNUAL FUND
The Annual Fund helps to advance the school’s vision, fund scholarships, support the faculty, maintain and repair the campus & buildings, promote the school, and provide for general operating expenses.
STUDENT FUND
The Student Fund provides immediate financial support to students each semester. This enhances our ability to assist students in covering the cost of their education, often making the difference in enabling them to come to school.
FLUHARTY SCHOLARSHIP FUND
In memory of Martha Fluharty, this fund provides scholarships to needy students. Priority is giving to students from West Virginia, but all students may receive support from this fund.
GENERAL ENDOWMENT
The General Endowment provides for the general financial support, maintenance, and expansion of BLI. This endowment supports the requirements needed for the PA Department of Education and the vision for accreditation.
LIBRARY/CHAPEL ENDOWMENT
This provides financial resources for the expansion of the library, library staff, development of building plans for the growing library needs, and meeting the expectations of accreditation.
DR. HENRY SHILLING THEOLOGY ENDOWMENT
This endowment is a fiscal resource for increasing faculty and administrators’ salary packages, meeting accreditation expectations, advancing the research opportunities of faculty, and paying tribute to our founder and first president.
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT
Unlike the Student Fund, the Student Scholarship Endowment invests the resources of the endowment and only uses the interest earned to provide scholarships to students. This creates an ongoing fiscal resource for financial aid and helps enlarge student enrollment.
VISION GIVING
A variety of specific opportunities exist outside the general budget that serve to advance BLI’s movement toward becoming an accredited Bible college with a vibrant student body.
