Outside Scholarships

Many churches, denominations, and other organizations are willing to assist students in funding their education. Students and parents are encouraged to explore these possibilities. Some websites that may help in this process are Fastweb, ScholarshipMonkey, and Collegeboard. Be sure to review the Biblical Life Institute Outside Scholarship and Loan Policy.

Student Loans: Residential Program

For its residential program, Biblical Life Institute does not accept, nor does it certify, any loans under the Federal Family Education Loan Program (Stafford and Parent PLUS Loans) students must select private, alternative loans, which are available from most lenders, in order to borrow. When seeking an educational loan, be sure to verify that the loan is private, not federal, before applying. Carefully review the terms and conditions of any loan before you apply. Most large banks or loan companies offer private student loans (sometimes called alternative student loans).

Online Program

      Federal Financial Aid

Online students may be eligible for federal financial aid. Those interested should begin by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applicants should use the federal school code  02169.

       Benefits

Qualifying online students may also be eligible for Social Security, Veterans, or Survivors and Dependents Benefits. Contact the admissions office for more information.

Student Responsibility

Securing scholarships and loans from any source outside the Institute is a student’s responsibility. Upon a student’s request, the Institute will certify, except for federal financial aid in the residential program, a student’s enrollment and provide other data with an understanding that it is fulfilling a ministerial service to its students. The provision of that service does not indicate that the Institute is a recipient of the loan received by the student or that it is in any way administering any portion of the loan program, or that it is responsible for decisions made by the lenders. Before exploring your loan options, please review the Biblical Life Institute Financial Aid Code of Conduct
